I've been working on a new project with @733392172354633900 and we're looking for a few people who might want to help us build it.
I can't say too much about the project yet, but it's mainly focused on developer tools and Discord infrastructure. There's a lot we still need to figure out, which is also why we're opening this up early.
Who we're looking for
We're mainly looking for developers who have experience with some of the following:
- TypeScript
- Node.js / backend development
- REST APIs or WebSockets
- Discord API / Discord bots
- PostgreSQL, Redis, or MongoDB
You don't have to know all of these. If you're good at one area and willing to learn the rest, that's completely fine.
The main thing is that you can work independently, communicate properly, and actually enjoy building stuff.
A few things to know
This is not a paid position at the moment.
The project is still early, so we're looking for people who are interested in working on something from the beginning rather than joining an already finished product. You'll be able to contribute ideas, make technical decisions, and work on the actual project instead of just being handed small tasks. We'll also make sure contributors get proper credit for their work.
